About Michael L. Rosenthal
Michael L. Rosenthal is owner and manager of Rosenthal Memorial Chapel, a Westchester County-based Jewish-owned and operated funeral business he established in 2006. Rosenthal Memorial Chapel serves the Jewish community in and around Westchester with a range of funeral services, including casket selection, advanced planning, and cemetery and clergy coordination.
An expert in Jewish burial customs and traditions and a variety of other funeral-related issues, Mr. Rosenthal brings more than 18 years of experience to his organization.
Prior to establishing Rosenthal Memorial Chapel, he served in various positions with Service Corporation International at various locations. He was manager at Hellman Memorial Chapel, Spring Valley, NY; manager at Hellman-Garlick Memorial Chapel, Briarcliff Manor, NY, which he established in 2001; and manager at Garlick Funeral Home, Bronx, NY. He was also Assistant Manager at Riverside Memorial Chapel, Mount Vernon, NY.
Mr. Rosenthal is a member of the Men’s Club at Westchester Reform Temple and Congregation Sons of Israel. He is also a member of the Religious Services and Outreach committees at Westchester Reform Temple. He is active in the Knights of Pythias, Yorktown Lodge, #859, a fraternal organization dedicated to creating universal peace.
A graduate of SUNY/Hudson Valley Community College, Mr. Rosenthal holds an Associate’s Degree in Applied Mortuary Science. He resides in Greenwich, CT with his wife Hillary.
